Brian Morris is an illustrator and creative director whose work explores identity, obsession, and reverence through the visual language of custom car culture. Best known for his transparent “vessel” forms and meticulous studies of wheels, engines, and mechanical artifacts, Morris treats objects as living containers of memory, desire, and personal mythology.
Working in both analog and digital mediums, his recent focus is on wheels as totems: Cragar Super Sports, 30 Spokes, whitewalls, and other icons rendered with radiance and precision, celebrating their geometry, history, and emotional pull. These pieces function less as technical illustrations and more as portraits—each one capturing the spirit, attitude, and cultural gravity of the object itself.
Morris draws deeply from mid-century American car culture, lowriders, 1970s street machines, and show-rod aesthetics, filtering them through a contemporary lens informed by psychology, symbolism, and storytelling. His transparent forms reveal inner structures while preserving beauty and restraint, inviting viewers to project their own meaning into the work.
Based in Chicago, Morris often operates under the moniker ooo000ooo, producing limited prints, lenticular works, apparel, and collaborative projects that sit at the intersection of art, design, and automotive culture.
